Jaimie Hirsch was appointed Executive Vice President of the Nursing/Guild Division and Public Sector in November 2023.  Additionally, he serves as a Trustee for the District 1199J Pension and Benefit Funds and is a Vice President of the National Union of Hospital and Healthcare Employees.  Mr. Hirsch began working for District 1199J in August 2007 as an Administrative Organizer with the Guild Division.  Before District 1199J, Mr. Hirsch graduated with BA in Psychology from Montclair State University, and was employed at Care Plus NJ Inc, known initially as Mid-Bergen Community Mental Health Center, first in summer of 1997 as a volunteer with the Medical Adult Day Care Program, and then in October 1997 as a full time Residence Counselor/Mental Health Worker with the Residential Program. It was during this time, in 1998, that Mr. Hirsch became an active Delegate with District 1199J.  From January 2000 to August 2007, Mr. Hirsch concluded his employment with Care Plus NJ Inc as a Screener with the Psychiatric Emergency Screening Program of Bergen County.
