In 1993, Phyllis Lee was a member and delegate employed at Atrium-At-Wayne (formerly known as Alps Manor) until she joined the staff of District 1199J in 1996 as an Administrative Organizer. She continued in that role until 2004, when she was appointed State Director of the Home Care Division. She was elected State Director in 2005 and re-elected in 2008. In 2011, she was elected Vice President of the Hospital Division.  Ms. Lee is now the Executive Vice President of the Hospital Division and serves as a Trustee to the 1199J Benefit, Pension, and Training & Development Funds.  She is Co-Chairperson for District 1199J’s Women’s Committee, serves on the Political Action Committee, and is the District’s Health and Safety Liaison.
